A change in the wind

Finally something worth writing about. The concept for 'A Low is a Meteorological Depression' has started coming together. As a result of a number of discoveries and previously missed connections the film piece has begun to take shape and also to have a place very firmly rooted in time.

In April and through to May, the moons line up beautifully with the year in which the poem 'moons and tides, Walberswick' was written, 1957. A fact not to be ignored. The first view shots have formed in my mind, but it is the audio track that has developed most in theory. The soundscape of the first few moments is very clear to me already and Huw has agreed to record a version of the poem for me in his voice, with 'Bernardian' tones.

Other projects: Moon painting for Mother, Kitsukuroi (more beautiful for having been broken) theory and research developing from work from 30 years ago and including eggshell as a source material.
