Little development in a month

Regardless of the deadline I haven't been inclined to 'blog', not having found the shape of this tool yet. I'm simply storing research, adding images and playing around with formats. There has been no development of the space. There has, however, been a small development in my creative output as finally there is a germ of an idea for the painting for my mother, which I think I always imagined would be purely decorative as she asked for a canvas to replace the one I hate so much that currently hangs in her hall/TV room. Despite my initial feeling about it and having tried to paint something that would satisfy her and fill the space I now realise that I couldn't just paint a landscape but now I have made some sketches and charcoal studies.

Paint has never been my medium and I've always struggled with creating images that I actually like in oils, but now I have something in mind that could be a start in the direction of expression and fulfil my Mother's needs. Possibly.

The development in this direction might or might not have something to do with my Transcendental Meditation course as the image has come partly from the lesson on accessing the Unified Field and also from previous sketches and aborted paintings on an old canvas.

The main stumbling block remains however. Where to work?
