Republic of the Moon

The exhibition had garnered considerable press attention for it's profile. It's not a huge show and some of the work is particularly badly displayed, but the work by Agnes Meyer-Brandis was profound and really chimed with my current thinking. It was certainly the jewel of the show and deservedly occupied the main space in the gallery. I spent a considerable amount of time there, deepening the connection I'd made with the work online.

The space held vitrines, installations, a projection of the main film piece and the 'control room', where I was able to operate a desk choosing the main camera to be projected live. There were few other punters there, giving me the chance to spread out on the sofa and watch the film twice.
