Working on a freelance or voluntary basis for charities, NGO’s and individuals making a difference.

My main focus is supporting these organisations with visual communications and helping to raise awareness of their work, or raise funds so that they can continue to do that work. I enjoy working strategically and creatively to produce short videos and deliver assets for campaigns, or help communicate specific issues to funding bodies, donors and other supporters. My clients include Noise Solution, World Land Trust , Pure Earth, and Green Light Trust. I also work as a volunteer for Suffolk Wildlife Trust and am a director of The Suffolk Short Film Festival CIC - Suffolk Shorts.

I have worked in film and television production since the ‘80s, and I adapt and develop my skillset as the industry and technology change.

SUFFOLK SHORTS - ONE DAY, 3 AWARD PROGRAMMES, 24 SHORT FILMS

Green Light Trust staff work to support individuals who are sometimes in crisis. In this video a self-confessed ‘girly-girl’ who had previously avoided the outdoors volunteered to tell her story in the hope it would help others to come back from the brink. Working with the team, learning green woodwork and woodland conservation has brought her more benefits that she could ever have imagined.

It was a BIG YEAR for World Land Trust who expanded and protected threatened habitats in countries around the world. £586,250 was raised to fund the Madagascar: A Forest for the Future appeal. New trees were planted to restore Armenia's Caucasus Wildlife Refuge and Colombia's Forests of Mist appeal is over 90% of the way to reaching the £1 million target, helping to secure a future for the threatened cloud forests of Guanacas.

PROJECTS 2018 - 2021

WHAT CAN I DO? With Sir David Attenborough (Produced, directed and edited.)

The film poses the question: “What can I, as an individual, do?” in the face of the climate emergency. He describes why he believes that supporting World Land Trust in its mission to Save Land to Save Species is an important means by which individual action can achieve an impact.

PURE EARTH FIELD REPORT - BANGLADESH

In Bangladesh, it’s estimated that more than 60% of children have elevated blood lead levels, with the unsafe recycling of car batteries being a primary source. Lead not only causes permanent brain damage in more than 1/3 of the world’s children, but it damages fragile ecosystems, making polluted air more deadly, and finding their way into our food supply and household products.

Brief - develop a way to help Pure Earth representatives in the field to communicate how funds support their work.
